| Introduction | I’m a country girl at heart who is trying to get settled back into country life. I am a wife, and the mother of a 1.5 year old girl named Emily, and we have one on the way. I am a professional lumberjack competitor, and we spend the summer months traveling to competitions all over Eastern Canada & USA—although I’m sure that’s going to slow down this coming season. We are striving to simplify our lives—and doing a decent job, if I do say so. I want to consume less, and require less. I want to use the safest products available, and eliminate the use of many toxic products found in our busy society today. We are also changing the way we eat, and are learning to follow a more traditional diet, free of modern preservatives and chemicals, and limiting our processed sugars and refined foods. |
