| Introduction | I'm not a zoo-hating PETA-style radical. I'm just a regular person in San Diego trying to help animals in an unfortunate situation. When I first started to talk about helping this zoo, I was surprised at how many people refused to help because they "did not believe in zoos". Well...all that righteousness is a cop-out (IMHO). The reality is this: right or wrong... these animals are here. They need help, and we are dealing with it. Along the way we hope to instill in the local communities awareness and compassion...and hopefully laws...so future animals will live better lives. I thank everyone who has helped! |
