| Introduction | My name is Jo and I am the soapmaker of Seraphim Soaps. I am also a stay at home mommy of 3. I started making soap about 6 years ago, learning out of a book how to do the Cold Process method. The first few batches? Not so great. About a year later, I came across some material on how to do the Hot Process method, since then, my soap has been beautiful. I started just making it for myself and family. They started pushing me towards selling, and here I am! In 2007 I was diagnosed with stomach cancer, I was lucky enough to have it caught early and come out on top. In January of 2011 I started cooking gluten free, and that in itself has been an adventure. |
