| Introduction | Peter Loveridge is a rural doctor who has lived in Nova Scotia for nearly 50 years. After learning to sail on the challenging east coast of England, he has been in and out of virtually every inlet and creek on the Atlantic coast of the province, always in a small boat, and often without fancy instruments. As he approaches senior citizen status, he is grateful that he now does have all the fancy stuff. Enlightenment came passing underneath one of the Halifax bridges and not being able to see the bridge deck. He remains cheerfully unrepentant about being politically incorrect and expressing his opinions as he sees things. |
