Introduction	I have been involved in horticulture all my working life and my first 19 years were spent on the production side of the business learning all about propogation, grafting and everything else to do with the growing of plants. Since then I have been involved in landscaping and also the sales side of the business and in 2002 we built our website.There were very few people doing this then, now it is a very competitive area of selling horticultural products, and our prices reflect this. One aspect of my work that has grown considerably over the years is that of advising client's on the correct trees,plants, etc to plant in the right place to ensure they get the best from them. This covers many areas including Golf Courses, Fisheries, Woodland Planting Schemes, private gardens, commercial landscaping for housing developments, etc. The idea of setting up this Blog is to pass on helpful ideas that I get asked alot and also seasonal information.
