| Introduction | I am an amateur photographer, mother of two grown children, a widow, retired and living in Maine. This is a photo blog of the place where I live. Before retiring I was a secretary receptionist for a psychology practice on Cape Cod and as time went on I found that I had this creative side so I learned flower arranging and did a lot of design work for a local country store. That expanded into baking wedding cakes and my creative side kind of took over. Maine is such a beautiful place filled with nature everywhere you look. I have tried to capture all of the seasons, wildlife, flowers and the rocky coast. I hope by sharing my photos that you can experience in some small way the beauty that surrounds me here everyday. I have also added some favorite quotes of mine and some poetry and other things in my life that I've written about through the years. |
