Introduction	I am an Ohioan by birth and Appalachian by heritage. I am this dichotomy of a person: real silly, really fun, and lighthearted, while at the same time I am reflective, and find significance and purpose in my life. I'm the mother of two children (one is severely autistic) and a YOUNG grandmother of Noah (3) and Elijah (10 months). I am a naturalist: I relish in the outdoors, the simplicity of a monarch butterfly lingering in November, and gold surfacing on the goldfinches before there is any other sign of Spring. I am an avid birder, love the CVNP...hiking, biking, going to special events. I adore camping and campfires under the stars. I have an Appalachian heritage and love that culture, the mountains, and history. I am often found with pen and paper nearby as I am a faithful journaler. When I don't have a pen in my hand, you'll find a needle there.
