| Introduction | Abbey has been ministering to kids since 1999. Currently the Director of Religious Education at NAF Atsugi, Japan, she’s “multipurpose” having been a camp councilor, preschool teacher, worship leader, video director, voiceover artist, screenwriter and blah blah blah – you get the point. "God made me lopsided so I’d have to learn to appreciate and crave people with organized minds." On top of that, Abbey was honored to be a contracted curriculum writer for 252 Basics for over five years. Through the years, Abbey has had the privileged to glean some amazing wisdom and a pretty big bag of tricks from some fantastic leaders of kids. “If you read anything good on this blog chances are that I’m just mindlessly regurgitating something I learned from way smarter people by doing it wrong so many times that they took pity on me and intervened (much like a dog trying to get a large stick through a small door).” Now she hopes that by sharing what she has learned, it can help others who share the same passion for helping, guiding and loving kids. |
