| Introduction | A Kaua`i native and honors graduate of Kamehameha Schools, I earned a Business Administration degree from the University of the Pacific. A passionate community organizer dedicated to helping others, I have over twenty years experience in Government, Labor and Non-Profit Administration. Recently, I worked with Kaua`i Community College and community leaders to bring resources to Anahola including a community certified kitchen that is currently under construction. I serve on the statewide boards of the Hawai`i Alliance for Community-Based Economic Development, Hui Kako`o `Aina Ho`opulapula (“Let the people flourish on the land”) and the Council for Native Hawaiian Advancement. I also work with local organizations that promote sustainable agriculture, renewable energy, minority rights, youth empowerment and a healthy lifestyle. |
