| Introduction | has been with Yahoo since 1999 and has held several key leadership positions. Currently he is the VP of Engineering for Yahoo Community products where he is responsible for real-time communication including Yahoo messenger, Voice (VoIP), Video, Flickr and Groups. He is in charge of identifying, designing and developing next generation, real-time communication applications and platforms. In this role, he was instrumental in enabling Yahoo messenger to become the largest messaging client in the US, surpassing AIM, MSN Messenger and GoogleTalk. Before taking on his current role, Madhu was the GM for Yahoo mobile (1999 - 2003). Prior to joining Yahoo, Madhu served as founder, president and CEO of MyQuest, Inc., a real-time messaging company acquired by Yahoo in 1999. He holds more than 15 patents spanning numerous engineering innovations. Earlier in his career, Madhu also served as founder and CTO of ISSG, an enhanced telecommunications application provider. |
