| Introduction | I live in the upper Midwest with my family and various adopted pets. The north-woods is our inspiration, with its cold-snowy-winters and hot, humid summers, lakes, trees, fresh air, and wildlife. I've been asked about the name "SoupSeeds" and would love to explain! When my oldest daughter was a little girl, she saw a lentil bean (those things get everywhere) sitting in a bit of water on the dish drainer that was sitting out over night for my dishes to air dry. It had begun to sprout. She pointed her little finger at it and exclaimed, "Look mommy, a soup seed!" I love how children have such a unique and beautiful perspective of our world. Don't you? |
