| Introduction | More than 50 novelists, poets, artists, illustrators and playwrights converge in the state capital each April for the statewide book festival. The 2010 event is set for April 17 and will be held on the grounds of Old Alabama Town in downtown Montgomery. This family friendly event is free and open to the public. |
