| Introduction | Hello,I am Dick Hubbard and welcome to our adventures. I hail originally from the little town of Paeroa, New Zealand where I was raised on a dairy farm. Then I had a career in the food industry - feeding the nation you might say in a melodramatic way. This all led to the formation of Hubbard Foods Ltd in 1988 which has been both a great ride and an adventure in itself. Where motorcycles fit in to my life? About 16 years ago I took up motorcycling and have had a bit of a love affair ever since. And talking of love affairs let me tell you about my good wife Diana. She is a relatively recent convert to pillion riding. Since 2012 she has ridden pillion around New Zealand several times and done a pillion trip through the Indian Himalayas in 2011. In 2012 we rode from Alaska to Patagonia, in 2014 around Australia, in 2014 in 32 states of the USA and 5 Eastern provinces of Canada. Me and my moll! We depart from London at the end of May 2016 and our destination is Capetown. I feel an adventure coming on. Share it with us on this blog. |
