Introduction | Grew up in a steel town, Pittsburgh, the middle son of five children. All I had ever known were sports and the outdoors growing up. Fortune and fate intertwined to grace my youngerish days and the places I have now been. Penn State (PSU), the Peace Corps and Guatemala, Arizona, Pennsylvania, Clarion University (CU), the University at Buffalo (UB), Minnesota, and West Virginia (and a few places in between). Forestry, computers and geographic information systems (GIS). A mix of this and that. |
Interests | Geographic bent that naively looks for the past to connect with the future. |
Favorite Movies | Eclectic at that from The Sound of Music, to the Lord of the Rings, to The Saving of Private Ryan. |
Favorite Music | How can I live without music. |
Favorite Books | The Bible, Tolkien, a Pattern Language, Leopold, and so many more. From the environment to the West to Politics... |
