Introduction I originally became interested in fitness and training as a high school freshman. I absorbed all the information I could find and my knowledge grew. Over time I concluded that I would make a career for myself in the exercise field. Over 25 years, 2 degrees, and several professional credentials later I continue to work and grow in the areas of fitness, training, physical therapy, and sports medicine. I apply my knowledge and experience personally as a multisport athlete, participating as an age-group competitor in running events from 5k to half marathon distances, sprint duathlons and triathlons, and other endurance events. Doing so, my performance continues to improve even into my forties.
