Introduction	Ah,my ramblings as a single mother~English teacher~woman living in a rural Georgia town. Since my life should be a reality show, I decided that others should share in the joy of each event that makes me (a) eat an entire bag of blow pops,(b) call my therapist for another appointment during which she looks at me incredulously, wondering just how much I have made up, or(c)believe that I should be living in a single-wide trailer, raising Pomeranians, living with several illegal immigrants, curlers in my hair, holding a diaper-clad baby, drinking MD 20/20, and yelling at the cops to take my no-good boyfriend back to the big house. In all truthfulness, (c) has never fully happened, but those occasions could make for interesting stories! As it is, I am a 30-something, college-educated, middle-class, single mother finding humor in a crazy, stress-filled life. It is just this humor that I share - from what to do about poison ivy on my son's "jingles," to running late when the dog throws up on the carpet,to re-entering the dating world, to guinea pigs Thelma and Louise who turn out to be "Theodore" and Louise and their 20 offspring. Welcome to my world! :)
Interests	Raising my boys and cheering them on in their various sporting and extracurricular activities, Teaching middle and high school English, Acting in community theatre (after a 15 year hiatus), Breaking into song spontaneously, Believing the best in things, Being happy, Cooking and eating, Laughing, Sonic ice (or crushed ice in general... :)),Singing, Reading, Fishing, Deer hunting, Being with my family, Spending time with people who make me smile.
Favorite movies	P.S. I Love You, Gone With the Wind, Steel Magnolias, Hope Floats, The 13th Warrior, Spitfire Grill, Scrooged, Muppet Christmas Carol, Bourne Trilogy, Gladiator, Braveheart, LOTR Trilogy, The Patriot, Count of Monte Cristo, any John Cusak movie, and anything starring Heath Ledger.
Favorite music	Blue Highway - "Someday", Southern rock, John Mellancamp, Eagles, Tina Turner, most all Country, 80s pretty much anything, Christmas music (all year long!!!!), Broadway Musical Soundtracks, some Hip/Hop, an occasional Rap song, and any old school Funk.
Favorite books	Anything by Ariana Franklin, Sarah Addison Allen, Neil Gaiman, Joshilyn Jackson, Patricia Briggs, Greg Iles, Douglas Preston and Lincoln Childs, Charlaine Harris, Francine Rivers, J.K. Rowling, Cornelia Funke, Dorothea Benton Frank, David Sedaris, Laurie Notaro, most historical fiction, science fiction, mystery and so much more....

You can punch a hole in an apple using a straw. How do you think that makes your milkshake feel?

Well, just because I can punch a hole in the apple doesn't mean I can can get anything out of it, so I would imagine my milkshake might not feel badly at all... he or she (depending on the flavor) probably knows this and is not ruffled in the least.
