Introduction	I think I was born a fanatical angler. I've been fishing since I was old enough to paddle in a stream and catch bullheads with a jam jar. I got my first rod and reel at the age of 8 in 1964 and have been at it ever since. I was a police officer for 22 years, but medical retirement brought that to a premature end and I now live in Herefordshire where the slow pace of life suits me just fine.
Interests	Fishing - of course. Football Photography Bugs, Birds and Butterflies
Favorite movies	King Kong 1933 version.Anything by Laurel and Hardy (am I stuck in the past?)Mars Attacks (stupid but very enjoyable)The Empire Strike Back (best of the series)Jacques Tati's movies such as Jour de Fete and Mr Hulot's holiday.And anything with dinosaurs in it because I'm just a big kid at heart.
Favorite music	My music tastes are too eclectic to list.
Favorite books	I've normally got 3 or 4 books on the go. I like fishing ones of course, but many others are on my shelves
