| Introduction | I guess one of my most defining features is that I'm 4ft tall, due to a rare disability called Kniest Syndrome. Like most short people I've not let the little issue of height stand in my way and I went to mainstream school, university, work and all that. I ended up working at the BBC for over 10 years before bailing out to have children. I now have 2 boys - one has my disability the other doesn't, it's an interesting journey of joy, worry, guilt, pleasure, fear, normality, difference.... |
