Which is easier to make a model airplane out of and why: a banana peel or a wet sock?
It is, under an assumption, of course, easier to make a model airplane from a banana peel, rather than a wet sock. Banana peels not only maintain a shape similar to plane wings (saves you a step), the peels have at least a small about of "stiffenesss" and would be easier to manipulate.
