Introduction	Mike Smalling began his career in the residential lending industry in 1990 and has closed over 3,000 mortgage loans. He specializes in all aspects of mortgage lending and uses the mortgage product to help his clients create a plan that helps them not only obtain their dream home, but also helps them with a plan to meet their long term financial goals. Mike earned his Bachelor of Science in Finance from Belmont University, and he received his Master of Business Administration from Middle Tennessee State University. He also has his Certified Financial Planning accreditation through the Scarlett Leadership Institute. He has lived in middle Tennessee all of his life and has been married since 1990. He and his wife have five children ranging in age from 1 to 16. He is an employee of Cornerstone Home Lending. Cornerstone is a full-service mortgage banker with more than 78 offices in 16 states. Founded in 1988 and based in Houston, Cornerstone is the seventh-largest independent mortgage company in the U.S. and is a Top 30 National Lender.
