| Introduction | Independent and free thinker who depends on common sense and research as opposed to parroting the usual suspects. Rule 29 of "33 Rules" to my children: Choose your politics carefully. Remove the emotion and the talking points and remain open minded. Try not to be loyal to a political party as this will too narrowly define you. Arm yourself with thoroughly and intellectually debated beliefs. It’s natural to identify with one camp over another, but acknowledge the necessity of multiple opinions to a healthy debate. Letting a political party make your decisions for you is surrendering thoughtful intelligence to mob ignorance. As an enlightened individual you will make better decisions than any mob. |
