Introduction	I grew up in Connecticut and have over 20 years experience teaching elementary (all subjects) and middle school Language Arts, Social Studies. I was the CT state rep for the Weekly Reader National Teacher Advisory Board 10 years, and appeared on ABC's "Good Morning America" to celebrate the 65th anniversary of Weekly Reader. I was also a NASA "Student Signatures in Space" teacher, and presenter at the NELMS (New England League of MIddle Schools) Convention in Providence R.I for four years where I shared my original projects with over 6,000 educators from around New England, Canada and some European countries. I have two masters degrees in education and was retained as an author by NASA in 2009. i'm co-author and editor of "Coming to America: The Disque Family" that will be published in France in the spring. My historical fiction book for ages 10 through 14 is ready for publication. Can't wait!!
