Introduction	As a psychotherapist, I work with individuals of all ages, couples, and families. Counseling is an art form....it is the art of listening, the ability to create visual understanding of deeply embedded meaning individuals have come to regard as truth - vs. constructions. Healing begins when enough safety has been created for the client to begin to deconstruct maladaptive beliefs and behaviors. Integrating new perspectives and a fresh understanding of old stories is a means to sustainable change - a gift of freedom and self acceptance. As a therapeutic guide, I believe that each of us is the best source of our own healing....I am there to facilitate what is already true and wise in each client. I am trained in EMDR, Sand Tray Therapy, Dream Tending, and Somatic Experiencing/Tranformation. I have a BS in Applied Behavioral Science and an MA in Counseling from LIOS/Bastyr University. Additionally I received Coaching Certification from The Leading Clinic: Appreciative Inquiry & Whole Systems IQ, a Certificate in Fundraising Management from the UW and a degree in Video Production from The Art Institute of Seattle. I have worked in the public and private sector as a manager.
