| Introduction | My name is George but Mum calls me Gorgeous George and I guess the name has stuck. I am a white cat with black splodges. I live in North Yorkshire, England with my Mum. Mum rescued me from the Cat Protection Society in July 2004. I had an older sister, Maggie, but she had been badly abused before she came to live with us and she was quite weak. Mum said I had to take care of her because she was "fragile". We were best friends but she died in 2006. I missed her very much but then Mum found some abandoned kittens in 2007 - Monty, Mimms and Millie. Monty and Mimms went to stay with some of Mum's friends but Millie lived with us. It was nice having a sister again, although she used to follow me everywhere and copied me - it drove me mad, and she found all my best hiding spots! Millie was run over last year so it's just Mum and me again in the house, although I have two older brothers, Longstreet and Socks, living with Dad in America! Mum and Dad are getting married in September and then we will all be moving in together soon after that. |
