| Introduction | I'm a big grrl in a big world. I have the most excellent fiancée and a cat who sleeps.. a lot! We were starving artist/students for too long and now we're doing well and living in a new place. For me it is also a new country and a new rural culture. Why am I in Canada? The USA essentially threw us out because federal laws will not let us lgbt bi-national couples marry, regardless of state laws. After ten years together in the US we had to leave and we feel displaced. As a result I am in a forced self-imposed exile from my own country and my beloved northern NJ.
