| Introduction | The Pet Industry Joint Advisory Council (PIJAC) is a nonprofit, service-oriented organization comprised of Members who care about pets, the pet industry, and the environment. PIJAC's mission is to: PROMOTE responsible pet ownership and animal welfare; FOSTER environmental stewardship; and ENSURE the availability of pets. For more than 40 years, PIJAC has served its Members and mission through world-renowned advocacy, animal care programs, and environmental stewardship campaigns.
