| Introduction | Welcome to my blog! My name is Whitney, and I am an English teacher at the 9th and 10th grade level in Texas. I am going into my 3rd year as a full time teacher and it is my 6th year in education. I teach in primarily rural, low-socioeconomic school district, and I absolutely love my job. My school district in the last three years has implemented the P.L.C model for improving our school and I have been a lead teacher at the Freshmen and Sophomore levels. This blog will focus on the things I have learned as a teacher, what I am doing in my classroom that works and doesn't work, and tips and tricks for everyone. |
