Albert Quinones Intro to Photo Spring '08

About me

Introduction	I threw up on my first day of class! LOL that is something I have been wanting to get off my chest since the beginning of the semester. I had been dealing with a lot of issues along with the rest of my family, and also had been sick during the week before the first week of classes. Needless to say I started out in January already sick of 2008. The importance of me having such a rough semester is that I feel that it has greatly effected the photographs I have produced in class. As a conscious decision on my part, unlike darker photographs I had taken in high school, I chose to only take pictures of things that were vibrant/colorful, I did not want to deal with the darker themes in life. I gained a lot of inspiration from my class-mates photographs this semester, which along with the help of Professor Kline has helped hone my skills in photography. This is my last semester as a senior in Rutgers Newark, and despite it all I am so glad that I have all of the photos from my last semester here. I would like to thank anyone visiting this blog, and hopefully some of you find my photographs and rantings entertaining.
