| Introduction | It all started as finding ways to disconnect myself from my work in Corporate America on weekends, have a break from spreadsheets, number crunching and contracts, some form of recharging. All I want is a hobby I can do at home,. Something that will serve as my refuge in a hard day's work. Then I discovered paper crafting. My paper crafting introduced me to Operation Write Home. A group of volunteer crafters that makes home made cards to send to our troops on active duty around the world. These cards are used by the troops to communicate with their family back home. Later, I discovered Card Care Connection, volunteers make cards for cancer patients. A hobby with a cause, now that's inspiring. Aside from paper crafting, I also love to hike and travel. A love that I only developed to have a common hobby with my husband and 3 boys. I am By nature, I am a home body, however, since my husband and kids enjoy traveling, and hiking, I have learned to love both hobbies as well. I enjoy exploring new places both nature and interesting urban areas. |
