Introduction	I like to play in my kitchen. I'm not a foodie, food critic, food writer or any other type of food professional. I just love food. (Rest assured, it is a healthy love.) Cooking and baking are creative outlets for me, and I enjoy cooking for others. I use food and decor to make holidays memorable and special, and make regular days feel like holidays. I can spend hours on one dessert or minutes throwing together something for dinner. I am basically a regular woman who cooks dependent on my moods, the occasion, and what's in the fridge. I like to open my home to extended family, friends, and future friends. I believe that hospitality is making people feel important, but hospitality doesn't have to be fancy. It can be paper plates and food from Costco. It can be tea (or coffee... or apple juice...) for two. Classy doesn't have to be fancy. Creating something delicious and beautiful to eat is something that can make people feel valued.
Interests	Herb gardening, cooking, baking, writing, watching my children grow like weeds.
Favorite movies	Romantic comedies. Sad movies. And anything not scary, horrific, or generally disturbing.
Favorite music	My music choices are mood-dependent
