| Introduction | I'm second generation American of Italian immigrants and third generation of Irish Immigrants, born and raised Roman Catholic in northern New Jersey. A typical rebellious youth growing up in a lower-class family, I joined the Navy in 1984 and retired in 2004. After retirement I worked for a few years before quitting the rat race. I'm now the owner of my own very successful health and wellness home-business. I stopped attending church for most of my Navy career and divorced after 18 years. I dated a bit but something was still missing in my life. Driving past a Catholic Church to and from work each day, I felt myself being called by God back to the Church. Making a 25 year confession, I was welcomed back to the church as though I had never left. 3 days later I met my beautiful wife and one of her first questions was "Are you Catholic?". We were engaged after 6 weeks, married after 6 months and have a beautiful marriage and Love centered on our faith and family. |
