| Introduction | WELCOME TO BROTHERHOOD OF THE BADGE Brotherhood of the Badge is a Police Officer/Public Safety Memorial Organization founded by a fellow Police Officer in 2007. We work together with the families and agencies of fallen LEO's to provide what we can. Whether that be financial support, assistance with putting together a memorial service or any other way the agency/family needs. BOTB is here so that no fallen officer is ever forgot. The word "brotherhood" has a very strong meaning. It means being there for each other during the good and bad times. It means answering the phone when a fellow leo you have never meet in person needs a friendly voice to talk to. It means assisting our brothers and sisters with help for those times we think we cant go on. It means offering training "on our own time" to each other to ensure everyone we can reach stays safe. It means making sure that the family members left behind never have to worry about stuff that needs fixed around the house, mowing the lawn, etc.. we are a family and families take care of each other. Being a family is more than just saying the words it is the act of physically doing your part to take care of each other. |
