Introduction | Hi, I’m Reverend Kim Holmes-Younger, an ordained minister with the United Church of Canada and the minister at Parkdale United Church in Calgary. I graduated with a Master of Divinity from the Vancouver School of Theology in 2021, and I’m passionate about progressive theology and radical hospitality. I’m a self-proclaimed “Bible Nerd” and love deep conversations about faith, life, and everything in between. Outside of ministry, I’m a wife, mother, and lover of all things coffee, bacon, and naps—my daily mantra! I also hold an undergraduate degree in Social Anthropology from the University of Calgary and am trained in Cognitive Therapy and Pastoral Care, which helps guide my pastoral approach. I believe in always learning, growing, and sharing those experiences with others. When I’m not preaching, you’ll find me reading, knitting, traveling, or spending time with my family. This blog is a place where I’ll share reflections on faith, life, and the joys and challenges that come with it. I’m excited to learn with you! |
