Introduction	Sonya Swain is not only a photographer but is also the founder of Treasured Images Photography. At the young age of 10 she realized photography would be a instrumental part of her life. She was given her first camera by her mother and took pictures of everything imaginable. Throughout her youth, she always had a camera nearby, and in high school, was responsible for the yearbook candids. Sonya continued her post secondary education at the University of Maine, where she studied photography. She then received her first paying job, as a school photographer, for Segall-Majestic, Inc. Her passion for photography continued to grow, so in 1998, she began taking portraits using her home as her studio. As business grew she was able to open the doors of Treasured Images Photography at its current location, 800 W. Second Street, Waverly, Ohio.
