Introduction I have been devoted to food and cooking since I was a toddler on tiptoes in my mother's kitchen watching her cook at the stove. After college, I went to culinary school in France and cooked professionally until a craving for more book learnin' propelled me to graduate school to study nutrition. Writing this blog allows me to consolidate interests, but mostly I want to share my cooking experiments and food revelations with others. Whether developing my own recipes or drawing from a large cookbook collection, I like to try new things and hope to encourage readers to do the same. My focus is on unfussy foods of eclectic origin with a smattering of sweet treats and a few boozy beverages thrown in to keep spirits up. Bon Appetit! Kristina Grado
