| Introduction | I’m a forever-young woman with 5 dynamic and relentlessly inquisitive kids. Nothing is ever less than a mission. I keep myself in optimal shape to run the daily mental and physical marathon of life. Sometimes I'm full of sarcastic wit; other times, I'm sentimental and reflective. Either way, I'm honest and speak my truth. My unconventional optic is born from living years abroad and overcoming multiple challenges. I hope my words reflect my incurable optimism, free-spirited nature, and passion for life. Like you, I strive for balance and inner peace and seek to discover the hidden blessings that only emerge from tough times. If need be, I hope my "voice" inspires you to stare adversity in the face with courage. We're all modern-day warriors living in an age of uncertainty. Our stability must be born from within. Academically, I have a BS in clinical psychology and MS in international relations and I've worked professionally in both domains amongst others. Yet, none of my education or work experience prepared me for the most challenging feat of all: mothering five "spirited" kids while trying to maintain a sense of self and shred of sanity. |
