Introduction I am a graduate student at Mississippi State University. For nearly 30 years I have done climate research in the Cumberland Mountains, specifically on a corridor I define as the High Knob Landform and its remnant mass of high country called the High Knob Massif ( the geological Powell Valley Anticline of the famed Cumberland Overthrust Block ). My interests focus on the Climate System and interactions between its major components with the mountain landscape.
