| Introduction | I was born on October 13th, in Peoria Illinois. I am the eldest of three girls. When I am not writing, I enjoy reading, traveling and spending time with family and friends. My passion for writing was ignited when I took a college course titled African-American writers. That opened my eyes to a whole new world of literary excellence that I wanted to be a part of. Some of the authors that influenced me were, Zora Neal Hurston, Countee Cullen, and Toni Morrison. Today, I currently reside in Houston TX. I am a wife and mother of two boys. |
