| Introduction | I grew up on a dairy farm in Iowa where winters were well below zero and snow blocked country roads for days. After high school, I worked as a secretary until discovering I would rather teach speech, drama, and English. My teaching days were mostly spent in a Chicago urban high school. I’ve since left that career behind to pursue writing fiction, blogs, and developing and teaching on-line courses. |
