Introduction	I grew up on a dairy farm in Iowa where winters were well below zero and snow blocked country roads for days. After high school, I worked as a secretary until discovering I would rather teach speech, drama, and English. My teaching days were mostly spent in a Chicago urban high school. I’ve since left that career behind to pursue writing fiction, blogs, and developing and teaching on-line courses.
Interests	Reading, traveling, camping, crocheting, water coloring, genealogy, gardening.
Favorite movies	I have many favorite movies: Forrest Gump, Downton Abbey, Gone With The Wind, The Ghost and Mrs. Muir. I also enjoy many British TV series: As Time Goes By, Midsomer Murders, Doc Martin.
Favorite music	My music interests are folk, new age, and Rogers and Hammerstein.
Favorite books	Some of my favorite books are The Winthrop Woman, Irish Country Doctor series, Gone With The Wind, Little House series, Frenchman’s Creek.
