| Introduction | I grew up in the Finger Lakes of western New York. One of my passions is to talk and learn about writing. Even though I'm published in both non-fiction and fiction, there's still so much for me to learn. My dream is that my writing will have a positive effect on how kids interact with and view the world. As a teacher, I felt like I was making a difference every single day. I hope my writing will do the same. Because I love dogs, my first set of books all involved dogs with a job - Atticus is a therapy dog in Finding Atticus, Scout is an assistance dog for a child with autism in Over the Edge, and in the newest book, with the working title, If I Knew, the service dog, Jem, will help a veteran with PTSD. |
