| Introduction | I am unexpectedly-newly retired. Hubby and I retired to western NC and I am loving it! I was blindsided with the diagnosis of Primary Peritoneal Cancer Stage 3C in August of 2017. I had surgery and completed 6 rounds of chemo. I am currently in remission. Feeling great and working on getting my strength back. I have been getting down to basics and loving it! I am making as much as I am able to from scratch: bread, yogurt, meals, laundry detergent, etc. I hope to do more canning now. Motown: Life is neither good nor bad but thinking makes it so. We don’t know how strong we are until being strong is the only choice we have. Always! Always use sunscreen! |
