| Introduction | My name is Yolanda and I guess in many ways, I'm just like anyone else-- a sometimes uncertain soul in a world I'm still not sure I know so well, even after 28 years. I do know I'm blessed beyond measure. After becoming a young mother at the ripe old age of 15, I laughed off statistics, worked hard and prayed harder, and have been given more than I think I ever deserved. Today I have a husband who loves me beyond belief, a 13 year old daughter who is both breathtakingly beautiful and incredibly wise beyond her years, and a 7 year old son who still makes my heart melt every time he smiles. I don't keep a ton of friends, and instead I have a handful of folks I can count on no matter the circumstance-- and vice versa. I work for a wonderful company full of honest, vibrant people and couldn't be more thankful I landed right where I am today. I'm just taking a moment to take it all in, and to revel in the glory of all the beautiful, ordinary moments and memories I have been so graciously given in this life.
