| Introduction | I was born and raised in Baton Rouge and I am a proud Louisianian, who also, of course, loves Texas :) I graduated from Louisiana State University (GEAUX TIGERS!) and moved to Dallas shortly thereafter. I have taught 1st, 2nd, and 3rd grade - but 3rd is my absolute favorite! I am currently in school to obtain my masters in counseling and will continue after its completion to obtain my masters in administration. What can I say, I love all aspects of schooling! I am so excited about our year together in 3rd grade at Shaw Elementary. It will be quite an adventure! |
| Interests | Teaching is my passion. I believe that Julia Child said it best in that it is important to "find something you're passionate about and keep tremendously interested in it." That to me is teaching. I feel blessed to wake up and do what I love. I also love traveling (I spent three weeks in Europe this past summer!), visiting my family in Louisiana and Mississippi, going to any and all LSU sporting events (football is my favorite, though!), and spending time with my friends. |
