| Introduction | I am a married, mother of two beautiful daughters. Caroline (age 14) is my mini-me who is just as eccentric and kooky as her mother. Ember is my empathetic, yet fiesty 12 year old. She has a heart of gold but don't let that fool you. Let's just say her name fits her temperament. My husband, Kevin is an avid fisherman. We have been married for nine years now. The picture I chose for my profile is the only family picture we have. It was taken about five years ago but I just love it! I recently (Oct. 2008) earned my B.S. degree in English so that I can teach. This year, I started a credentialing program. I have put off my student teaching because I am having second thoughts about becoming a teacher. I realize, after subbing, that teaching will become my life. I don't want to neglect my husband and children who need me to be there for them. So....I turn to my second passion and that is crafting. I have been crafting as long as I have been a tiny tot. I just love creating. My confidence in my abilites has given me much pleasure in making quilts, candles, ornaments, jewelry and so on and so on. |
