Introduction	"Where do we come from? What are we? Where are we going?" Artist Paul Gauguin stated these three questions as fundamental to human thought and emotion. And yet the route each of us takes to get to the answers is astonishingly diverse. Nowhere is that more prominent than the divide between art and science - and yet, here I am, in love with both. This blog is a way in to each culture, in the hope that one day a physicist and a pianist can sit down and help each other to better understand the 3 Fundamentals.
