| Introduction | Grant McLachlan is the name, and politics is my thing. While I’m currently in my final year of high school, my ultimate goal is to help make this world a better place to live. I hope to achieve this by one day becoming a politician. As a proud member of the New Democratic Party, I believe in social democracy. Through it, I believe a utopia can be actualized in any government through peacekeeping, worker’s rights, equality and social justice, environmental protection, effective crown corporations, increased funding for social services such as universal health care and education, and fair trade. In time, I too wish to advocate for this, and with hard work and dedication, it will be achieved. As I look toward the cosmos, nervousness does not coarse through my blood, rather excitement and hope for a better, brighter future. My hope is that you’ll be here to enjoy it with me. |
