| Introduction | In my seventh decade and unlikely ever to enjoy the comfort and security I had planned in my second (in my teens in other words), and with almost all hope of any sense of meaningful achievement now nothing more than wistful longing, I'm more than ever convinced that the 'privilege' I'm said to enjoy is nothing more than yet another laughable female fantasy.
I have put in an awful lot of effort, in one form or another, and have ended up with bugger all for it, while those women I've been involved with have done very nearly fuck all and done very nicely out of their involvement with me, in one way or another. That makes a nett transfer of my various sorts of capital from me to them, as I see things, and that makes them essentially parasites. To paraphrase Mr Jaggers, I've a pretty fair experience of women and they're a pretty bad lot. |
