| Introduction | Mount Zion United Methodist Church is located at 310 Church Street in downtown Central, South Carolina, near the intersection of SC Highway 93 and Church Street. We are approximately three miles from the city of Clemson, home of Clemson University and the Clemson Tigers, and approximately a half mile from Southern Wesleyan University, home of the SWU Warriors. We are a family at Mount Zion. We love each other and care for each other as part of God’s family. We believe that the children of our church are our future. We encourage their participation in Sunday School, as Acolytes, as members of the Children’s Choir, and as active participants in Holy Communion. Our Sunday School Program starts at 9:45 a.m. on Sunday mornings and our Worship Service starts at 11:00 a.m. Mount Zion is a church that accepts you for who you are.
