| Introduction | I am an Event rider based in Northeastern Pennsylvania. Up until January of this year, I was on top of the world with my beautiful Prelim Eventer "Scooby Who". Sadly though, my world came crashing down on January 15th, when a fire destroyed the farm where my horses were stabled. Nine horses, including my beloved Scooby Who and Cassidy Blue, passed away. My life is now about repairing a broken heart and broken dreams. The silver lining to this terrible experience has been the arrival of a new ottb and future eventer "My Miraculous Phoenix" (JC Name-Eboy). Although there are still some excruciating days, Phoenix is giving me purpose again and bringing new joy into my life. Come along for the emotional journey as we continue to heal and watch as Phoenix goes from a racehorse to becoming an upper level eventer =) |
