| Introduction | I started coaching in 1990 with the Colony Red Hots swim team in Irvine, California. It was at that point that I realized my love for teaching young children and began developing my philosophy and unique style of coaching. A little while later I decided to look for a coaching position with a more competitive focus. One of my swimming buddies at Saddleback College in Mission Viejo thought I should meet Coach Rose at the Nadadores. Within no time I was coaching my first group with the world famous Mission Viejo Nadadores. I spent 5 years coaching all levels and ages until I was hired as the 10 and Under Division Director in 2004. Since then, I have coached some of the fastest 8-10 year olds in the country, developed a tradition of fun and rewarding progression to the age group program, and gained some amazing relationships with the swimmers, parents, and coaches of the Mission Viejo Nadadores as well as coaches and athletes from all over the world. |
